Top 7 Things To Do In Austin
Austin is a city that you will enjoy in Texas as it does not have the crowds of Houston nor as much of a traffic headache as Dallas. However, when you are in Austin, you need to make sure you know what you can do in the city. 7. Castle Hill Graffiti Park -
When you think about graffiti you typically will think about it ruining the value of a place. However, this location is one that will simply amaze you because of the beauty of the artworks that are shown in the area and all they are going to offer for you to see.
6. Walk Around Lady Bird Lake -
Ladybird Johnson may not be someone you remember from your time, but she loved flowers and lakes. This is one of those gardens you will want to go out and walk around just to unwind from the stresses of the day.
5. Bullock Texas State History Museum -
While this is not as popular as what you would find in the state capital, it is a great place to go and visit. The museum will teach you more about Texas history than what you ever thought you would be able to learn from a single location.

When you are looking at Austin you may not think it has a lot of history to it. However, the historic walking tours that are typically free make it easier for you to find a great location that has plenty for you to see and explore and points out some of the interesting facts you may have overlooked.

If you are scared of bats, then this is not the thing to do for you. However, if you want to see something unique and different then you have to go to the Congress Avenue Bridge. This bridge literally has thousands of bats coming to it each night.
2. Bull Creek Greenbelt -
Sometimes you will want to get out of the city. I know it is not as crowded as what you get in Dallas, but it can be overwhelming at times. The Bull Creek Greenbelt has a great hike that will take you on an amazing trail you can enjoy.

This place is simply amazing and has pretty much everything that you would want to see and the best part is it is free at the last time we checked! So this provides you with quite the education on Texas history and the beauty of the area as well.
