Houston is a city with a space history, but it also has quite a bit of seafood in the city as well. With that being the case, it can be difficult to find the best seafood restaurants in Houston, but now we have ranked the top 7 seafood restaurants in Houston.

If you want to explore more of Houston, then blast off to our Houston travel page.

  • 7. Caracol @CaracolHou -

Caracol is another Mexican restaurant that we absolutely love. This place has everything going for it and has some of the great Mexican style seafood that we enjoy quite a bit. The dish that we have fallen in love with from Caracol is the oyster tacos that are simply divine.

  • 6. Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen @pappadeaux -

Pappadeaux is a great restaurant that has a wide selection of seafood. It can be a little loud at times with the atmosphere, but not overly loud. The dish we love from Pappadeaux is the shrimp creole.

  • 5. Grand Lux Cafe @GrandLuxCafe -

Grand Lux is a place that you will like because it has some great fish meals and a decent atmosphere to go along with it. However, if you want to have a great dish then you will want to try the shrimp scampi that is to die for.

  • 4. Monument Inn @MonumentInn -

If you love fried seafood then you cannot go wrong by coming to Monument Inn. This is a restaurant that has some of the best fried fish that we have found and some decent views as well while getting to the place. Our personal favorite menu item is the Mahi Mahi

  • 3. Hugo's @hugos_houston -

Yes, this is a Mexican restaurant, but you have to realize it has great seafood and while it is not dedicated as a seafood restaurant it still has great menu options that will make your mouth water. Our personal favorite dish from Hugo's is Ceviche Sampler.

  • 2. Eddie V's Prime Seafood @EddieVs -

When you go here do not let the darker, but more serene atmosphere deter you. The food is great and the even with the low lighting it provides a great experience. The favorite dish we have from Eddie V's is the Louisiana Fried Oysters.

  • 1. Kata Robata @katarobata -

Kata Robata is located in a strip mall type of location, but do not let that deter you. The food that you get from Kata Robata is second to none and the quality of the atmosphere will shock you. Our favorite dish from Kata Robata is the Big Eye Tuna Tar Tar.
