  • 7. Intercontinental San Francisco @icsf -

This is a location that has some of the most sophisticated rooms that we have ever seen. The place has plenty outside of the luxury based rooms as well. The on site Spa is definitely a plus as is the fact they have a health club so you can keep your exercises up while on vacation.

  • 6. Worldmark San Francisco @worldmark -

Have you ever wanted to stay at a location that is very laid back, has great rooms, and a fantastic atmosphere? Of course you have, if that is the case then Worldmark is for you. The location is inside of an older building dating to 1908, but also a place that has been made modern to suit your needs.

  • 5. Loews Regency San Francisco @loews_regency -

The Loews Regency is an elegant and very upscale hotel that you are going to love to use. This hotel has everything that you can imagine from a spa to a very upscale restaurant that will provide you with all the right food to fill your cravings before going out on the San Francisco tours.

  • 4. The Donatello @Club-Donatello -

The rooftop bar, Italian setting, and the bathroom televisions set the Donatello apart from any of the other hotels you can stay at. This is a location that has some great places to stay, but also fantastic Italian food that is available at the on site restaurant.

  • 3. Claremont Club and Spa @claremonthotel -

Located in Berkeley you will find the Claremont Club and Spa. This is a location that recently celebrated its 100th year of being in business. However, what is really nice is the stunning views of San Francisco the location offers and the majestic beauty that is seen here is amazing.

  • 2. The Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay @ritzcarlton -

While this resort is not directly in San Francisco either, it is a place that will allow you to lead the life of luxury and know you are enjoying your trip around the San Francisco area. What we really love is the location as you are on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

  • 1. Cavallo Point Lodge @CavalloPoint -

Luxury is a great thing you will find at the Cavallo Point Lodge. The place is roughly 10 miles from San Francisco, but it is one of those places you will remember going to for years to come. From the luxury to the comfort and ease to get to San Francisco. All of these combined have landed Cavallo Point Lodge at the top.
