South Mountain Park

Phoenix is an oasis in the middle of the dessert. However, what is even better is this is also a city that has been able to make some great strides to being a vacation destination. Since this is the case, I have decided it was time to rank the top 7 attractions in Phoenix.

Want to learn more about Phoenix? Check out the Phoenix travel page.

  • 7. OdySea Aquarium @odyseaaquarium -

Going to an aquarium in the middle of the dessert may seem like it is going to be out of place. However, when you are in Phoenix or as here the Scottsdale area you will want to go to this aquarium as it is rather large and has plenty of fish for you to see and explore.

  • 6. Castles N Coasters @CastlesNCoasters -

If you like a theme park, then you will love Castles N Coasters. This is a place that has pretty much everything you would like to have, but also going to have mini golf, roller coasters and almost everything you would want to have in a theme park.

  • 5. Pueblo Grande Ruin -

As you can tell from the attractions we have picked out here, the Pueblo Grande Ruin is one of those that you are going to fall in love with as another Native place to see. This place is great and allows you to explore quite a bit and learn about the older cultures that were present in the ancient world.

  • 4. Arizona Science Center @arizonasciencecenter -

If you want to have some great times while you are in Phoenix then you have to make sure you go to the Arizona Science Center. This place is amazing and has some of the best looks that you can enjoy because of the way it looks and feels.

  • 3. Heard Museum @HeardMuseum -

Learning about the Southwestern Art and the Native American culture is a great thing to do. However, what you will find great about this place is they are completely devoted to this type of work and makes it easier for you to have a great trip and an educational one as well.

  • 2. Phoenix Zoo @PhoenixZoo -

If you want to see some amazing animals and see how they adapt to the hotter climates, then you have to explore the Phoenix Zoo. This place is great and definitely a place that has plenty for you to see and explore.

  • 1. South Mountain Park -

If you want to have some commanding views of the city then you have to check out South Mountain Park. This is a place that has simply had some of the best views around, but also has plenty of trails and over 16,000 acres to explore.
