Austin is a beautiful city in the great state of Texas. However, a lot of people tend to overlook the fact that Austin has quite a few attractions to see and visit when they are in the city. With this being the case, people should know more about the top 7 attractions in Austin.

  • 7. Mexic-Arte Museum @mexicarte -

    Are you looking to explore some of the Latin art works in the world? If you are then make sure you check out the Mexic-Arte Museum that has plenty of permanent exhibits, but it also has some of the younger Latin artist come in and make artworks that go on a rotating exhibit as well. 

  • 6. McKinney Falls State Park @McKinney-Falls-State-Park -

    McKinney Falls State Park is one of those beautiful regions in the state that you would not think would exist in Texas because of all the heat that is present. However, McKinney Falls is easily the best place for you to travel to and know you are going to have great vacation and chance to explore the beauty of the state.

    Zilker Botanical Garden is a location that covers over 30 acres of ground. However, what is nice is the location has plants that are both native and non-native to the region. So you will have a chance to explore all the different areas and know you are going to have a great chance to see the different plants and insects, which come with plants, that you normally would never see.

    Mount Bonnell is a very beautiful place and one that allows you the chance to get away from the headaches of the city. This is the part that overlooks the lake that is on the Austin portion of the Colorado River and has the lake that is around.

    Do you want to get a great history of Texas? If you do make sure you visit the Bullock Texas State History Museum. When you are here you will see plenty of exhibits and iMax films to view. Either way this is a great place that you are going to enjoy and love.

    Barton Springs Pool is a beautiful location that you are going to fall in love with because of the constant temperature of the water, but also the fact this is a spring fed pool. Throw in the fact the location has lifeguards on duty and it will be very easy for you to see why this is a beautiful location to go out and visit.

    If you ever want to learn about government and how it works then you need to visit the Texas State Capitol building. This building is one that you are going to love because of the beauty of the building and the chance to explore the history of the Texas government.
